The devil doesn’t want you to be idle.
He wants you to be busy.
VERY busy.
Now, you want to do God’s work, right?
I know you do. What honest Christian doesn’t?
The reason you want to work for God is because He’s loved you so much and you think everyone should get to know His loving kindness.
But here’s what most learn the hard way… as your desire to do God’s work increases, the obstacles to serving Him increase in number or intensity, too.
Most of us, if not all, run into this issue at some point in our communion with Christ. You get excited about the Word. You attend every church function—even midweek prayer meeting.
Then something changes.
Maybe you have a second toddler. Maybe your parents get a bit older and need more of your attention. Or perhaps work gets hectic and…. no more corporate prayer.
